Quetzal won for me. I don't have a level 15 Champion yet, so wasn't an option. I figured I could ultimate or invest that gold in speeding up Quetzal's evolution to 10. Luckily the investment paid off and will have future benefits.Cauldron L20 < RS L15 bB first attempt .... Much thought given

I won against Cauldron wth a level 8 hermit (red/white). In regular battles I have previously defeted him wth Justice and laserlight. It seems Red/White works best. I would guess a pure pink (Kitsune or black_swan or even virtue) would also work.

Don't give up. I just beat it after many losses. Diamond 15 after several healings. My other three accounts had better luck, diamond on first attempt.
Yes I used White Chocolate which is red white too.
