How to obtain nails?

I need nails for expansion. It says through farming and orders. Yet no nails for weeks already. Any suggestion?

I got mine by sending orders, but they are really rare drops, like rope...

You get nails and other buildingmaterials from sending out orders and from harvesting crops, but they are a rare drop indeed. If you can't wait and have enough money, you can buy them from your world post. Buildingmaterials are often put up for sale there.
