Candles or no candles--I have already given up for the 2nd tournament in a row--my level 14 Trent lost to level 1 2nd round!!! What gives TL--l also can't breed any keepables anymore--- no wonder you're loosing your long-term players

Yes,I feel your pain - have just beaten the punk skunk with epic pyro pony after 3 losses to epic Treent and 1 loss to epic hareon! Plus as a eurozone player I have a big handicap time wise too so it is very unlikely I will get this one. I do wonder why I put so much effort into this game sometimes lol

Well, what's up with round 8? This may be a FLASH tournament but I'm not off to a flashy start; on this round my shiny new ultra rare Prize Pony first failed twice and now my plan B, the "doubly strong" Magmacore also failed miserably to beat... A SHEEP! And he's not even Shaun the sheep!

Thank you tuffyjkitten, Clark_Wayne and Animenia for the information against Egyptian. It looks like they changed that whole element so I'm just going to wipe the slate clean and re-test it completely. I'll update the first post with the info you have given.

Round 9 Gargolem. - I tried my Strawberry & got all NEUTRAL
Looks like Ice Cream may have changed
Too bad - my Strawvpberry was very successful last tournament

For those players that are struggling with this tournament, there is a nice 3 gem reward for winning round 11. No acorns, but a pleasant surprise.

Rd 5 - Sobek [6] (Egyptian): I have confirmed over the last 2-3 tournaments that Spring BEATS Sobek.

One tournament - Peony Pony lost first time but then won the second time I used it. Always get critical hits with Peony Pony.

So the chart can be updated with this info. Hope this helps someone.

I would be interested in what other new animals are getting consistent wins on this.

Round2: Punk skunk level 1 - won with Bulldog; used fire x2 (critical)
Round3: Yak-o-lantern level 2 - won with beever; used electric x2 (critical)
Round4: Dusky level 4 - won with Blizard; used water x2 (critical)
Round5: Sobek level 6 - won with Aperil fool; used fire x2 (critical)
Round6: Scarecrow level 7 - won with Flyerfox; used fire X1 (critical)
Round7: Steamtrunk level 9 - won with Bansheep; used dark (weak) and electric x2 (critical)

Round9: Gargolem level 12 - won with Flyerfox; used fire x3

I take issue with one item above..round 9.. Gargolem may have an element that is vulnerable to fire but plant with any adverse/neutral element against dark, say, fire is the Better choice for everyone else. PLANT . Here is a link that lists the particular weaknesses of opponents:
