Not sure its a good idea to have more than 1 in the habitat since there is 5 limit per day on gold per habitat If you have more than 1 you are shorting yourself.

If they collect every 12 hours they're not shorting themselves

I believe the correct concept is that they only hold 5 golds.

Yeah, the one habitats only hold five gems, so you just have to collect twice a day. Should be easy. I had three of the old ones that held ten gems, so I had two in each, but now have five habitats and spread them out a little, to make my island neater. I cant wait for the other ones. Ive 3 more to go!

Yes! I have been saving gold for along time now never letting it drop down below 600! I finally get a gold dragon! As soon as my Pink Lotus hatches I'm buying this egg! Beautiful dragon!
