Still need 7 sap before I can even start this quest and if part 3 comes up, I'll have some major pending goals :-) so tempted to use gems but trying patience

I was in the same boat - still 7 sap to go. I promised myself I would just go slow and not gem it but I only managed a few days and then relented. Oh well. As I mentioned before - it is a game which brings me fun and relaxation so sometimes paying a few dollars towards it is OK by me.

There's not much point in rushing this. The new adventure does not seem to produce anything new, and Fwipple disappears when you place her

Edit: We have also yet to see any new drops from the bulb. The most interesting thing might be what Kaz says after we've informed him...

Edit 2: Glimmerdust dropped from my lev 5 bulb.

It's still locked I could not use my adventure , I finished the quest late yesterday afternoon
I had to wait for my adventures to come back

The first adventure that goes out from the castle must have come back before the new adventure is unlocked in the barracks

Yes, I got glimmerdust! Hope I didn't collect from anything else too, so I only thought it was the bulb dropping it!
Edit: And blythe dust drops too.
