I think we should be able to pick and choose what we grow in our gardens. I'm always hurting for ginger and deleting basil and garlic to make space.

Perhaps put a daily limit on how many vanilla and ginger you can grow, perhaps one of each vanilla and ginger per open plot per day. It's very frustrating to not be able to make what you want/need because you can't get lucky enough to get ingredients.

A cap would be terrible for me. I think they just need to adjust the statistics on which herbs are planted. In my case, I never have enough ginger or vanilla. Especially ginger. I think they adjusted it for the Japanese event because I was getting a TON of ginger and it was amazing!
