I am at level 4 trying to finish level 5 (made only one faerie sap so far)
I was thinking that I need to invest in another living tree.

I'm finding that the living tree is a pretty good use of gems. So many other things require it. Ornate beams and vital extract and now this marathon. Also I caved and bought gold when the nuggets were on "sale".
