Same issue I have. I used two and got cat treats. I figure just to wait till after the event to use then again. Too expensive to waste on something I can't use.

I see the Golden lure being used, but it isn't made in the bait shop. Is it something that can only be bought? Please let me know.

The Golden Lure cannot be crafted in the Bait Shop. Previously, it was the prize during a fishing event. Since then, it has shown up as a prize for the Halloween event as well. Also, Stormie sometimes sells the bait in the Newspaper, or other players as well.

It may show up again as a bait in a future event.
