Randomly got Angel with stone and diamond - I was just filling a bingo square (breed with stone) and picked diamond because I wanted at least an 8 hour timer.
Bingo task to breed with a Birthstone dragon, so I bred it with Diamond. I've done this lots of times before with no luck. This time I got a Beryl Dragon! By the time he finished breeding, I had a new bingo card, again with a task to breed with Birthstone, so I just hit the rebreed button, and now I'm getting Chroma! Back to back Diamond types! And my second account got a Quetzal in this same time frame - first one for that account.
Whoa! So the Mercury dragon is a Diamond type dragon but it only has a 1 hour incubation? Cool! I was so disappointed when I saw 1 hour until I hatched it. And evolution is 3 hours.
Then again, on my other account, I bred with a diamond dragon and was so happy I got a 33 hour timer until I realized it was a Virtue dragon. :P
I'm not sure why the Diamond dragons are coming more easily for me right now, but I'm sharing because maybe the odds have improved for everyone, and everyone should try while they can!
Oh, and my Mercury combo was Birthstone and Ridgeback. Seems like an odd result from that pairing, but I will take it!
The Gem in Birthstone can split into green and blue, hence giving you possibilities such as Mercury, Beryl and Quetzal when paired with a Diamond typeWhoa! I already have all the breedable Diamond hybrids, all except the Black Diamond, which I have been trying to breed at almost every opportunity since forever
