Don't feel bad I've been on this game off and on over eight years and don't have a diamond dragon, even when I had to start over which really made me mad I still don't have one.

Sometime at the end of januari this year (after breeding New England) I decided I was going to breed for Quasar on my main account.
I knew that this could give me Gossamer, which was still avoiding my island.
Because I didn't have Saturn either I started with pure diamond and cosmic. After getting Saturn I switched to a diamond hybrid (Gold or Anubis) to avoid the single types. After getting Venus it was Anubis or Gossamer only to avoid Venus, too.
These are the results, in order of appearance:
3 Cosmic
81 Genie
4 Magic
1 Peacock
19 Music
2 Air
1 Saturn: 14th breed: last of the single cosmic type trio I needed
11 Trickster
1 Venus: Needed for dragon tales
1 Gossamer: 64th breed: Yeah! Very happy that I got this one first.
1 Mischief: Unexpected, but very welcome. Never been able to breed it in the past years.
1 Gold: Nice fail: 11 bombs for evolving and 100 essence for trading it.
1 Quasar: 127th breed: Woohoo
So I still say: Never buy (or craft) a breedable dragon, you can also get it with patience and perseverance
Twee(200): 788 unique dragons, 529 epic, 7 lvl 15, 20 eggs, 18 in stable. 22 Diamonds, 14 GPD.
Drie(168) (id:Bastiaan00): 209 unique dragons, 187 epic, no noble crystal. 8 Diamonds, 3 GPD.

I got my Diamond after So many attempts! Fairytale & Supreme.... now I’m trying for the “ easy ones”: Diamond + Fire, Diamond+ Water; Diamond+Air & Diamond+ Olympus. Good luck everyone! Oh, and can anyone give me some advice on how to breed Valiant?

Ugh just got a third Ridgeback and still no Crusader or Infinity. 100 more essence for me, I guess!
I got Diamond breeding Birthstone (level 11) and Aerialist (level 9). I wasn't even trying, just brewing to see what I'd get.
I'm on level 106.
I'm trying to raise it to level 4. It's like 42 hours of evolving!
