Wheels for carriage

I realize I'm late to this but I am clueless as to how to proceed. After 20+ attempts I finally got the lantern! Now I have only 24 hrs to complete a myriad of requests for items that are not quickly produced (paper) in order to be able to make carriage wheels and gold bars (from what I've read in other posts, but not clear in the game). Is this a glitch?

no you don't have to do this goal. If you don't have the items (and not many players did when it came out!), just wait 24 hours for the goal to expire and then you will move onto the next step which is to craft your own gold bars. Crafting them is super simple!

Started filling this goal's requirements and then had to use gems to complete it. On the other hand, there's not much to spend the gems on, anyway.
