I don't think it matters. I got my unicorn with shock fox and cactus kitsune, one common and one supper rare.

Hello, it is very difficult to breed a Crystal Unicorn. It does not matter whether Common, Rare or Super Rare for breeding to Crystal Unicorn. It is important always to use the 4 colors it breeding. You can breeding a Crystal Unicorn with Planther / Thunderhawk get and you can look here:
