I'm level 23, wondering if wasabi is needed to finish the event? Doubt I'll make it to level 27 fast enough?

It is needed for one of the two set of goals from the event...

Is this like the last event?
1 - How do you know which recipes you should spend time mastering? If I knew it wasn't staying, then I didn't waste time on it.
2 - Can you move on to the next step without having to wait for the next day to start like the cruise events?

KYOKO visits your restaurant every hour.
Every time she dropped 5, 7, 8 or 10 Soy Sauces, and 3, 4, 5 or 6 Wasabi Roots.
Sometimes she dropped ginger!

Step 10-5:

Serve 20 Water
Serve 3 Spaghetti and Meatballs
Master Gyoza to 1 Star

Make Wasabi Paste
Collect Shrimp
Learn Dragon Roll

Step 4 is buying two styles, the wallpaper and table ones with white flowers.

So goal popped up, tapped on Kyoko, got 5 shoyu and a bunch of wasabi. Went and got cheese. Started cooking cheesecake. Came back 10 minutes later. No cheesecake, no cheese, no wasabi, no shoyu. Uncool. Now I have to start all over.

This has happened 3 times already. Making dishes, leave and nothing has processed. Make a dish, game freezes like its had one too many drinks and goes back, but ingredients are gone and no progress. Make dishes, goal recognizes it, game refreshes and I have to start all over again.

The eel sauce needs sugar, plus ive to make a carrot cake and sugar cookies. Ill skip the cookies once my cake is done. IF it doesnt reset. Because I really, really want those recipes if we are going to keep them at the end. The sushi and ramen. Im excited!

But I still have to give my gripe, these times goals like this, all that cooking, stuff using similar recipes is a bit much. And this from someone who can collect five of everything at one time.
