Oh wow. After weeks of tedious and slow collections with hardly any poo bags appearing I'm finally nearing the end, and suddenly fertilizer bags started appearing from almost every possible candidate - so I got more than 10 bags in one round of animal and conservatory collection. It's normally been 1, 2 or none!

Is there a shortage of fertilizer supply out there? I collected from 8 horses, 14 cows, 2 stables, 6 conservatories, and only got 4 bags of fertz.... Siiighh, how much longer before I can get Sir Daisy?....
I just started the fertilizer trading phase of the quest. Was full on fertilizer for a long time before this so glad to have something to use it for. We'll see how soon I'm down to zero!

How do you get back on track if you've missed a goal?
A timed goal is just that. Once the timer expires so does the goal & it doesn't come back. Unless S8 decides to renew it in a year or so like Bat Habitat.
All story line goals go in order and you won't miss any of those. After completing one, another will unlock.
