Castle Story: 07/16/15 Update - Monster Hunt Season 1

I just was battling the blue dire boar from the pond, got down a couple hits, collected some shields, and then the game recycled and put a regular dire boar on my board in its place with 2 of 8 hits left to ****. I finished it off, got more shields from the hits, but of course, the daily challenge was not completed.

Super frustrating.

I'm also posting this in the bugs thread if it's not there already.

that's the PURPLE ONE.. what about the one that is only a GLIMMER GOLEML.. geex ppl I can spawn a glimmer troll from sparring pit and it does bupkus

It's definitely a timed event.

First page says you have to be level 22. I'd suggest parting a beast so you can play without interruption until you level up enough.
This doesn't seem to be a timed event so you'll get to it soon enough. There are the "daily hunts" that give extra prizes, but I'd assume we get more every day and there will be some for you whenever you start!

Do you have to craft the new beastbane sword before clicking on the daily goals to fight?

Nope. My sword is still crafting but I've completed two of the daily goals and gotten their rewards.
