I'm going to try to make a master post of all the quest info, since the mods are gone for the weekend and unlikely to edit the first post of the other thread. I *will* edit this post, so feel free to add things. I'll try to update from this thread and the main one as well.

Please note that in order to start these quests, you'll have to download the updates to RS2 on your device.

There are 3 quest lines with the current BBQ event. Two of them (The Summer Barbecue and A Side of Spuds) will require you to collect mustard from Uncle Sam, a new customer. Uncle Sam's visits are ~30 minutes apart and he will drop 1-4 mustards each time. Some have noted that Sam won't arrive if the game is left open, but will arrive immediately after closing and restarting. Mustards are stored in your pantry under the Seasonal tab and have a duration, which means they will disappear when the event expires.

Mustard requirements
In order to complete The Summer Barbecue or A Side of Spuds, you're going to have to collect some mustard drops from Uncle Sam. Below are the calculations on how much you'll need for each.

A Side of Spuds
Potato Salad mastery level 1: 10-20 mustard, depending on Mastery Spice use
Potato Salad mastery level 2: 20-40 mustard, depending on Mastery Spice use
Potato Salad mastery level 3: 30-60 mustard, depending on Mastery Spice use
(NB: this last one is assumed until we get confirmation of the 3rd level of mastery)
Total: 60-120 mustard, depending on Mastery Spice use. You'd need 30 total Mastery Spice to use one every time.

The Summer Barbecue UPDATED
Unlock Hot Dogs: 9 mustard (3 BBQ Sauce)
Unlock BBQ Ribs: 36 mustard (12 BBQ Sauce, down from 60 mustards)
Unlock BBQ Chicken: 54 mustard (18 BBQ Sauce, down from 60 mustards)
Collect 25 BBQ Sauce: 75 mustard (note that these 25 can be used to unlock Bacon Burger, but the quest doesn't require the unlock, just the collection)
Total: 174 mustard, down from 204

To do both quests, you'll need between 234 and 294 mustard, depending on your use of mastery spice.

New Recipes

There are 5 new recipes and 1 new ingredient. You should only need to learn, not master, the 4 recipes on the BBQ Grill. They will not go away after the event. Once you unlock them, they are yours, like with the Valentine's day oven. So don't worry about mastery, just get the BBQ sauce and learn all 4. Or even get the BBQ sauce, period. The sauce won't expire, so it looks like you can unlock them after the event, as long as you get the sauce beforehand (like with the Valentine's day cards from that event).

The Potato Salad has a limited duration. Master it in 14 days or it's gone forever. It's the only one you need to worry about mastering now, which is annoying since it shares an ingredient with the BBQ sauce... But here we are!

Diner Stove
BBQ Sauce - 30 minute duration

NB: This is not a recipe. You don't have to learn it, you don't get recipe credit for it, and it doesn't go on your counters. It's only used to unlock the recipes on the new BBQ Grill. However, BBQ sauce, unlike mustard, does not have a duration. This means you can store it indefinitely in your Pantry (also under the seasonal tab) and use it to unlock the BBQ Grill recipes even after the event ends.

1 Mayonnaise
NB: This is a temporary recipe, not a permanent one. Once the event is over, Potato Salad will expire and you won't be able to cook it anymore. If you want to master it, you must do so before the end of the event

Hot Dogs - 15 minute duration
1 Beef
1 Bread
NB: Takes 3 BBQ Sauce to unlock


BBQ Ribs - 2 hour duration
2 Beef
1 Sugar
1 Tomato
NB: Takes 12 BBQ Sauce to unlock (down from 20)


BBQ Chicken - 30 minute duration
3 Chicken
2 Tomatoes
1 Sugar

Bacon Burger - 12 minute duration
1 Beef
2 Bread
1 Bacon

Learn BBQ Ribs (requires 12 BBQ sauce, down from 20)

Make 3 BBQ Sauce
Serve 4 Hot dogs
Serve 5 BBQ Ribs

Step 8
Collect 1 Chicken
Collect 1 Sugar
Learn BBQ Chicken (requires 18 BBQ sauce, down from 20)

Step 9
Serve 4 Yogurt Parfait
Serve 5 Cheesecake
Serve 6 BBQ Chicken

Step 10
Serve 5 Hot Dogs
Serve 5 BBQ Ribs
Collect 25 BBQ Sauce (Collect doesn't mean make, so all you need to do here is have the Sauce in your inventory. However, do be careful that you get credit for the quest first, before you use the sauce to learn the final BBQ Grill recipe!)
Reward: Pile of Fireworks, a floor decoration worth 120 gems

As Night Falls
Apply Grassy Filed Floor Style (costs 15 gems)
Apply Night Sky Wall Style (costs 20 gems)
Reward: 3 Rocket Burst wall decorations (worth 15 gems each)

There's no other rewards/continuation, just a reward of the 3 items for some other gem purchases. If you're interested, enjoy! This should give you the general idea.

A Side of Spuds
This is a side quest that's only available if you're a high enough level to have potatoes and mayo unlocked. If anyone can confirm what level it opens up, that would be great.

Step 1
Learn Potato Salad
Master Potato Salad to Star Level 1

Level 1 mastery requires 10 cooks

Step 2
Master Potato Salad to Star Level 3
Reward: 2 Firefly Jars (worth 70 gems each)

Level 2 mastery requires 20 cooks
Level 3 mastery requires 30 cooks

NB: If you're interested in finishing this one, this is a great use for Mastery Spice. Mastery Spice gives you credit for 2 cooks instead of 1, so you'd only need to cook 5 times (instead of 10) to achieve the first level of mastery.

Maybe it only opens up after you do the first steps of the main challenge? I know I got it a day later, but I thought it was a new quest being added. Maybe it's a side quest thought? Can anyone else confirm/deny this?

I think the side of spuds is a later side quest, and it's level-restricted, since someone said he has the quest but his sister (presumably lower level) doesn't. Not sure though.
