BBQ Quest event

I'm so confused about this. I initially created bbq sauce but now when I go to recipes I don't even have an option of making bbq sauce. My grill is worthless since I cannot make sauce. Anyone have suggestions?

While the recipes are permanant, the ability to make the BBQ sauce to unlock them was a timed event.

If you did not make the required amount of BBQ sauce before the goal ended, you cannot unlock the recipes unless you use gems (if you see that option). If there is no option to unlock the recipes using gems, then you will not be able to make the recipe.
