Arctic Isles issue

In my daughter's game, she got to the arctic isles, got two ice age dragons and bred them together. She is breeding the only two dragons she has there and has an egg on the nest.

She's stuck because she has an empty habitat that won't generate the stuff needed to make the flames, and she can't put the dragons back into the habitat because there is an unhatchable egg (due to lack of flames) on the nest.

Is there a way to fix this?
