I have been reading the posts off and on and missed this- you have to tour your level 5 stable to choose your horse. Mine is level 3, I guess it will be 5 soon.

No, you do NOT have to visit a level 5 stable to choose your horse. In my mind visiting a level 5 stable is a bad thing. I sold mine and built new level 4 stables. Lol once you visit a level 5 stable, the option to craft more horses for 999 gems is gone. I may never buy any more but I prefer to have the option in case I do want to at a later date.

If you can visit your jousting arena twice a day (12 hour intervals) you should have a day or so left over.

I guess I should add that's providing you can spend enough time to also get 8 monsters a day besides those that come from the arena.
