Actually looking forward to this one, but I would like to see FFS coming out with new elements to breed for, not the same seven elements we've been breeding with over and over again for months :\ The forums are nearly dead mostly b/c people are losing interest in the game and lack of new elements to breed for is probably one of the top three reasons users are getting bored >.<

That's just the goal, it doesn't say limited in the shop so I'm assuming we have longer to breed it
THE 7 DAY GOAL DOES NOT MEAN THAT THIS IS A LIMITED ANIMAL. It only means that if you breed one within 7 days, you get a 5 gem bonus. All limited animals are marked "limited" in the shop for at least a few days before they are removed.
