Thread: Red Velvet Cake?

    Red Velvet Cake?

I am so confused. Why is everyone baking Red Velvet Cake for profit. Isn't Blueberry Buckle far superior? I despise math so I sat down with my Mom who actually runs more than 20 kitchens and had her break this down for me. She's great by the way, her daughter is blankyblank years old and wants to break down profits in a game on her phone. XD kudos to her for playing along.

Anyway... so confused about the popularity with Red Velvet Cake. If someone would explain it I'd be much obliged.

RVC is better because it makes fewer serves so you make a larger profit per serve. I think it's about $7 profit per serve for RVC but only $2.3 per serve for blueberry buckle.

If you had all your ovens making RVC you could still sell them all in one day (if there wasn't much else in your bakery) but because blueberry buckle makes so many serves you can't sell them all so they start building up and then your profits are locked up in thousands of serves in your bakery that aren't selling fast enough.

Blueberry buckle flies off the counters because I have a pretty efficient layout for now. So I guess I'll stick with that.

most of players r oriented for income they get per plate, even despite the real profit from recipe = income minus cost spent for preparation.
in terms of income per plate, the most profitable food looks like this:
    Spoiler: show
    Appliance Recipe Hrs Profit/Srv Prof/Plate Profit/Hr Income/Plate
    Basic Oven Red Velvet Cake 22 $8 600 $7.02 $390.91 12
    Basic Oven Sugar Cookies 22 $7 460 $5.87 $339.09 10

    Drink Mixer Egg Nog 8 $1 320 $2.28 $165.00 5
    Drink Mixer Chai Tea 3 $940 $1.88 $313.33 5

but higher income doesn't give the higher profit in every means.
for example, if u have time and desire to play frequently and to cook permanently, u cd like to look at this matter from the point of profit u r getting for each hour of cooking:

there cd be also another look. for example, me personally, i didn't yet mastered all the recipes. it means i'm not gonna cook more than 83 bunches of each recipe, at least during next half a year... in this terms, i consider the highest profit from one bunch of recipe (one serving), whch is:

lol people are cooking for profit while I cook what looks yummier. I could probably take two or three days off and still have plates of food.

Can you show us your layout?

I have close to 1.5 million RVCs sitting on my counter forever and I am using an efficient layout (I think).

I wish we can sell more than 40k plates everyday...
