    Most Profitable Lumber item?

Im soon, tomorrow hopefully, going to be level 31 and I will be able to get the Ash tree. Now, I have a bunch of saws saved for this and I was wondering what is the best wood item to make and sell.

I know I will be able to make the wood buttons right away and in level 36 the silver & wood, which I can keep saving my saws for.

Honestly I dont know what to do.

Or you could just sell the lumber without crafting them into anything. I usually just make buttons in the studio or if I have sliver I make the wooden necklaces in the jewel smith.
I never bothered to buy it....but I think you use the lumber to craft things in the toymaker.....wooden horse and doll house.

I always try to make something even if its a tiny profit cause of the xp I just dont know what to do about lumber. Like I said, I have a lot of saws saved and since they arent exactly that common I just want to make sure to use them in the best way.

Do you have the train? If so, it asks for buttons when your in the 30's level-wise. I've never had it request just wood from me, but buttons it has. It also hasn't requested the wooden necklaces yet, even though I unlocked those a few levels back, and I cross my fingers whenever one arrives that it won't ask for them now. LOL!!! I hate having to use up jewelry in a train/plane order and usually just discard those that arrive that way.

But, if you want a reason to use your saws, you can make buttons and hoard them for train orders or sell the lumber directly in the market for extra coin. They sell like hotcakes and whenever I see wood in the paper, I immediately snatch it up, as like you said, saws are a rarity nowadays.

I tip and run - don't ask me to write on your wall, as I won't. I don't expect you to write on mine. If you tip, great, if you don't, also great. Just answer my requests and I'll be happy.

No I dont bother with orders of any kind. I take the make money approach and it hurts when I have to put something in the plane or train that will sell for 3x what Im gonna get back. I usually just go newspaper hunting for tools and expansion papers.

Im debating on going for the buttons or waiting for the necklace but I cant get info on time or profit or even how much lumber you need for them from either.

You have a ways to go before you can get the necklace - I think it's level 35 or 36, at the least. With how long it can take to level up, you won't want to hold onto that wood for that long. I know they sell for quite a bit, but don't have any right now to even give you the minimum pricing, however, it takes 3 wood and 1 silver to make them in the jewelsmith - 4 hour timing.

Yeah, I want to get the profit of the necklace when compare to selling the items individually. I remember when I first got the mine and the jewelsmith and I saved and bought all the gold and rubies I could find to make the ruby necklace and then when the first was finish I was soo disappointed. There was just too little profit when using the gold for the ring and selling the rubies would be ten times better. I already had 3 more in the making so that was 12 gold that was wasted. Thats why I want to be sure.

Silver is so easy to find while gold isnt and I always stock at least 20 iron to make picks and shovels at the forge, thus making earings is hard. Thats why I though wood would be a great way to use the silver instead of selling it. Though 3 woods for it sound pretty bad.

I found this in the game guide but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is. If there were any pricing changes since it was input, they haven't been put into this part of the guide so....double check if you come across an item before using this as 100% accurate.

Ash: Lumber (this tree is chopped down using a saw, not collected with the bucket)
    Minimum - 41(1), 82(2), 123(3), 165(4), 206(5), 247(6), 289(7), 330(8), 371(9), 413(10)
    Average - 136(1), 271(2), 407(3), 543(4), 679(5), 814(6), 950(7), 1086(8), 1221(9), 1357(10)
    Maximum - 206(1), 413(2), 619(3), 826(4), 1032(5), 1239(6), 1445(7), 1652(8), 1858(9), 2065(10)

    Wooden Button:
    Minimum - 86(1), 172(2), 258(3), 344(4), 430(5), 516(6), 602(7), 688(8), 774(9), 861(10)
    Average - 263(1), 526(2), 790(3), 1053(4), 1316(5), 1579(6), 1843(7), 2106(8), 2369(9), 2632(10)
    Maximum - 430(1), 861(2), 1291(3), 1722(4), 2152(5), 2583(6), 3013(7), 3444(8), 3874(9), 4305(10)

    Wooden Necklace:
    Minimum - 142(1), 285(2), 428(3), 571(4), 714(5), 856(6), 999(7), 1142(8), 1285(9), 1428(10)
    Average - 437(1), 873(2), 1310(3), 1746(4), 2183(5), 2619(6), 3056(7), 3492(8), 3929(9), 4366(10)
    Maximum - 714(1), 1428(2), 2142(3), 2856(4), 3570(5), 4284(6), 4998(7), 5712(8), 6426(9), 7140(10)

If I remember and get any then I can double check the pricing in my market, but I may forget. From what I could tell when I was selling these items, they all sell fairly quickly so no matter how you decide to use the wood, it will get sold and won't sit there waiting for Stormie to come around.

Buttons have almost no profit, and I can use that machine to make things with much more profit. Necklaces don't have a lot of profit, but I rarely need that machine for other things, so any profit is better than none. If I have enough extra silver on hand, I make the necklaces.
