Thanks Rhino Keeper;-). I struggle with insomnia and recently got laid off.... So I'm job hunting (1st time in 30 some years - ayyy, I have my MBA so we'll see if that helps .... The dragons don't give a sh--, lol))). I was so mad earlier because I was using the neon one, solid black, etc. and the colors that should have worked on the pink/purple combo ... The dang fairytale finally won! I forget which it is - round 21 or 22 (hellion I think). I have to start noting them. Good advise, thanks. Btw - I only started over the holidays so I don't have Berseker, ninja or any of the older champions. I wasn't even able to get the rainbow w/e it's called becuz I didn't have a moon at that time but I do now ;-) Cheers

I didn't know the order of the colours mattered! I'm only going by an outside source so my notes might be a little...wonky. I'll try forest soon. Thanks!

From what I'm seeing, it does make a difference. Going with the first color seems to work best.

If the opponent is a type (Mythic, Fossil, etc), there are two options. For those dragons where type does not matter AND have a color, go with the color. If the dragon has no color listed, then it's a best guess, use what others have used, pick something crazy type of deal.

For the types listed in the first post of this thread, start with the suggested types/colors. If those don't work and the type has a color, pick your fighter according to the color.

I've found the guide/suggestions in that first post to be very helpful, and often accurate. Just realize there is a randomness in the damage dealt by both your fighter and the opponent, and sometimes doing something crazy wins when what should have been a solid win doesn't.

Penumbra: Eating all my dragons and taking no prisoners. I am unamused. I'm also uninstalling/reinstalling the game, as well as restarting my device, because there is /no/ logical reason for getting stuck on this one.

Try a green dragon with green being the first or only color. I beat Penumbra with Epic Dawntree (mB).

Yeah, tried that twice, both times failed. Uninstalling and shutting off my device seems to have reset the field a bit, since I managed to down it with a champ immediately after.
