I go to update and it's now asking me my banking info in App Store which it never did before on updates. I never purchase anything in game so why ask now? Is this new or a bug?

Do you have a different device I wonder? I just updated this morning and wasn't asked that info on IOS
No I have an iPhone ..never have had to worry about banking info before not sure why now
Open ITunes on your computer and check your account settings. See if anything's missing or changed. Good luck!
