It's fixed now. I had this problem in several TL games today but they all seem to be ok now.

Thank you but I don't think that will happen. My hubby was able to gift this morning and send me gold 4 hrs. ago. I saw his name but could not collect. I went back on his Ipad and his gold is already sent (:Hopefully your regular gift giving neighbors will also realize it's fixed and resend you the gold

Seems fixed on mine. Able to send and receive gold. Couldn't do that this morning.
After reloading the game, it works now, finally able to send gold
