Farm story 2: Year of the sheep event 2-19-15 guide, info, unlocking

Event has begon (IOS only).

Well as you can see it requires a x number of level to get started with the only 12 days during event.

You have to buy the Lunar Workshop ($1500). In the workshop you can craft Fortune Cookies (3 flours, 2 sugars, 3 eggs = 1.5 hours) and the Chinese Dragon (4 gold ores, 2 ruby, 5 screws, 5 saws = 12 hours).

There are also Peach Blossom Trees and mum flower bushes ($150) that take 3 hours & 22 hours and require flower clippers (received from deliveries) to harvest (both plants can be harvested twice each then they dissapear)

New bait (2 iron, 2 wool, 2 flax = 2 hours)

Like in the last event Valentine's there seperated missions.

Missions:

Game progress missions: goal sheep dog.

Mission 1: Chinese new year: Buy 1 lunar shop, plant 4 peach blossom trees, Give 12 fortune cookies, Give 6 harvested peach blossoms (reward 160 coins, 2 packs of fire work, 32 exp points).

Mission 2: The lucky bumpling: Craft 3 lucky bait, Give 6 fish bumplings, Give 18 fortune cookies (reward 160 coins, 32 exp, 1 lantarn tree).

Mission 3: The year of the sheep:Harvest 2 Mum Flowers, Give 5 New Year Flowers, Give 5 Sheep Plushies (Rewards : 160 coins + 1 animated Drum + 32xp).

Final mission 4:festival fortune: Give 25 cookies, Give 9 fish dumpling, Give 10 new year flowers, Give 7 sheep plushies (Reward: 160 coins, 1 sheep dog & 32XP).

Morgan primrose missions:

Mission 1: Happy chinese new year: build a chinese dragon from the lunar shop, place the dragon on your farm (Reward 160 coins & 32 exp).

However these missions will not be easy because they ask alot of researches that some of us don't have unlocked yet your been warned for this check this well.

Items that are unlocked for the start of this event are:

Lunar shop / 1500 coins.
Chinese dragon pony / you buy a single horse / no skin / 400 gems.
Peach blossom tree / 150 coins each.

I think the times and costs are correct, but if anybody spots a mistake I am sorry. I do not know the cost of skipping in the final goal as I am not there yet but hopefully it is still 10 gems per dumpling!

PET GOALS

1: Chinese New Year
Buy 1 Lunar Workshop (1,500 coins) - builds quickly
Plant 4 peach blossom trees (3hrs maturing time) 150 coins each

2: The Lucky Dumpling
Craft 3 lucky bait (2 iron, 2 wool, 2 flax) 2 hrs
Give 6 fish dumplings (4 flour, 3 eggs, 2 lucky fish) 2.5 hrs = 15 hrs - 10 GEMS EACH TO SKIP
Give 18 fortune cookies (27 hrs)
Reward - 160 coins, 1 lantern tree, 32 xp

Crafting Time - 42 hrs if lucky with fishing, otherwise days!
Cost - your sanity! or 60 gems if feeling flush!


3: The Year of the Sheep
Harvest 2 mum flowers (22 hrs maturing time) 150 coins each
Give 5 new year flowers (3 mum flowers, 3 peach blossom) 3.5hrs = 17.5 hrs - 12 GEMS EACH TO SKIP
Give 5 sheep plushies (4 wool, 2 mum flowers, 2 peach blossom) 3 hrs 15 hrs - 18 GEMS EACH TO SKIP
Reward - 160 coins, 1 drum, 32 xp

Crafting Time - 54.5 hrs
Cost - 13 mum bushes, 13 peach blossom trees


4: Festival Fortune
Give 25 fortune cookies 37.5 hrs
Give 9 fish dumpling 22.5 hrs
Give 10 new year flowers 35 hrs
Give 7 sheep plushies 21 hrs
Reward - 160 coins, 1 sheep dog, 32 xp

Crafting Time - 116 hrs = 4.8 days
Cost - 22 mum flowers, 22 peach blossom trees

Total Time = 230.5 hrs = 9.6 days SO NOT MUCH LEEWAY CONSIDERING THE FISHING DEBACLE!!

Minidemon has provided amount of flowers for the last two goals.

I just did a calculation based on the goals requirement.

In order to craft all 15 New Year Flowers, you will need 45 mum flowers and 45 peach blossom. Then for the 12 sheep plushies, you will need 48 wools, 24 mum flowers and 24 peach blossom. Altogether 69 mum flowers and 69 peach blossom. Or 138 clippers for all those flowers.

Waa, I though I've enough materials for the goals. Guess I need to stockpile more again.
