What Good Does Mastering a Recipe Do?

So okay I've mastered , earned a Gold Star, on a couple of recipes so what do I get in return for having done this Yea sure in BS and RS u get a total of 2 gems for mastering a recipe but as far as I can tell we don't get anything, am I right or R we getting something that I'm not aware of?

We get a pop-up congratulating us on a job well done. That's about it.
