Galloping Gift: 3rd step timed or not?

Is the third step timed, e.g. 24 hours? The text indicates that but I think it has been sitting in my book longer than that. Is there any other way of getting past this than providing g the goods?

Its says its optional, but there's no button to skip it. Can someone either fix the text or the quest? Because right now it just looks like someone messed it up.

I've reported this to TL, just waiting on a response (it's the weekend still). I believe the text on the goal screen is incorrect. This is not an optional goal.

It seems to have caused a lot of confusion. I'm taking it as it reads (what I can read of it) with good faith. I'm still waiting for it to go so I can continue. When will that be?

I lost over 100 diamonds today on step 3. The game said it expired, I paid 25 diamonds to finish, got the horse, then later, I was down another 75+ diamonds, my horse was gone and the challenge was back. Losing interest in this whole game. I want my diamonds back!!

This is being investigated by TL. Please check the main thread for response, yet to be posted (at time of writing).

Sorry for the confusion! The Goal that asks you to give items such as Dyrad's Breath, Goat Horns, Light Feathers and such has been changed to a 12 hour optional Goal and separated from the "A Galloping Gift" Goal line. That's why you saw a different timer for this one and when you completed this and went back to the rest of the "A Galloping Gift" Goals, you saw the original timer.
