Wedding Alicorn Availability

The Wedding Alicorn is also available to players below Level 40. I just saw a Level 26 kingdom with the Wedding Alicorn. Shouldn't this info be made available as a pop-up within the game?

Actually, the fact that the Alicorn is in the Market should have been one of the first pop-ups when the event began. Another player told me about it. The info is being passed around from player to player. We should not have to get our game information this way. It should be readily available from the game itself, and repeated. When there's a sale, there are always pop-ups and repeat pop-ups to remind us of it.

It is showing in the market under the Feature Tab. Normally there are pop ups when there is an update. This one may of been missed.
I will forward this suggestion on.

I have the same issue. I am at level 50. My "Feature" tab is currently empty.

Was there a particular time frame where the free Wedding Alicorn was available for "The Big News" update?

I am at level 50 and don't have it in the market under the featured tab.

From all the comments, it looks like the FREE Wedding Alicorn was only available for 24 hours following introduction. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with the 24 hr timer for the exchange trades. Looks like it was a one time 24 hr freebie for everyone, that sadly has expired.

Maybe that's the reason for the Alicorn reward as part of the main story line.

There is clear statement in the first post: "In order to access this week's update, you must be level 40+", in bold level 40+.
So why players below level 40 would read the second post???
Actually I did read it but it was too early, there was nothing about alicorn at all.
It's simply unfair!

I see your point...I myself started the quest and it wasn't until a kind neighbor left a note on my wall about the new Featured animal...I placed it and let all my neighbors, and then some, know about it. I didn't think anything more about it until a neighbor advised everyone could get one. I have a level 21 kingdom I recently started and went and place one there also.

if not for the kind neighbors, I might have missed out.
