Castle Story: 1/22/15 Troll Sparring Pit

Hi everyone!

Kaz is back, but he's been too upset to settle down because he's certain that the faeries are up to something in his Kingdom. We'll need to build something to help him control his anger!

In order to access today's update, you'll need to have the Goal "Home At Last" completed from last week's update. The update will go live at 12 PM PST.

Troll Sparring Pit

I've added this info to help you make sure you are crafting the right Hide. In order to craft the Super-Reinforced Training Dummy, you need the Adamant-Reinforced Hide, not the Iron-Reinforced Hide. You need Tanned Hide to craft the Adamant-Reinforced Hide too so you'll need to craft more of that and then craft one Adamant-Reinforced Hide. SW

Visit library 2 times (skip 10 gems)
Craft 2 new white benches (skip 20 gems)
Reward: 410 coins, 2xp


2. To the pain
Craft a Troll Training Dummy 0/1 (go) <For Thurston's sake>
Bring it to Kaz for testing 0/1 (give) <hopefully this last longer than Thurston> (skip 5 gems)
Craft: Training dummy: 2 wooden beam, 10 wheat, 2 hide - 30 mins (workshop)
Reward: 525 coins, 2xp


3. A worthy opponent
Craft a Reinforced Training Dummy 0/1 (go) <Stay strong, dummy!>
Bring it to Kaz for testing 0/1 (give) <looks weak>
Craft: 2 fancy blocks, 30 wheat, 2 tanned hide (1 hour, workshop)
Tanned hide : is 2 hide and 1 tannin (1 minute, potions shop)
Tannin: is 2 sap, 2 water, 2 living wood (1 minute, potion shop)
Reward: 640 coins, 2xp


4. Sparingly sparring
Craft an Extra-Reinforced Training Dummy 0/1 (go) <Third time is the charm>
Bring it to Kaz for testing 0/1 (give) <I'm not impressed>
Craft: 2 royal beam, 10 wool, 1 iron-reinforced hide (2 hours, workshop)
Iron-reinforced hide: is 1 tanned hide, 10 iron (5 minutes, workshop)
Reward: 710 coins, 3xp

Troll sparring pit is: 5 troll club, 4 royal block, 4 super-reinforced dummy, 5 troll armor

Size: 2x2
A troll will not appear if you have a monster on your board somewhere. You can double check by turning on your music if you can't see one.

If you want to 'park' a troll, put your sparring pit at the edge out of the way.

Troll sparring pit is 5 hour recovery time, spawns Glimmer Trolls on collecting (7 health)

Glimmer Troll drops:
* I got 2 troll horns and 5 energy after sparring with the glimmer troll from the troll sparring pit.
* My first sparring match a troll horn and 5 returned energy
* 1 troll horn, 1 creep tooth

HURRAY! for a while I was worried this update would begin a valentine's day event. I'm glad to be advancing again in the main story line.
