Bakery Story Update 1/21/15

How hard is it to 'draw' us a cake decoration every week? Cakes are cylinders... put some color and a few flowers on it, it would be so easy. Why waste time and effort drawing a bunch of ugly, weird garbage that no one likes !?!?

Obviously TeamLava is putting this 'junk' in the game for a reason, I wish I understood why. This is a box? Wouldn't they want to put the BEST stuff in a box, so players spend money? Give us a cake box. I bet a cake box would be opened more than this box. You would think TL would keep count of what sells and what doesn't. I just can't imagine why a business wouldn't try to sell a product that their customer want.

One more thing.... I can't imagine TeamLava releasing updates like this in Dragon Story. No DRAGON, for weeks! People would quit. Why are we only getting 'junk' updates in Bakery and Restaurant?

I wish we would get more "realistic" items that belong in a bakery. I think that's why I loved the coffee theme we got. Some of this stuff people might like, however, I personally don't want "monsters" or "fire trucks" or anything like that in my bakery.

I don't mind the Ice Queen Throne item, I could make that fit into my winter theme but again I won't be opening this box because I'd be really disappointed if I got one of the other items.

I wouldn't mind these fantasy themes nearly as much if there was even just one item that fits in a 'normal' bakery with a cafe. As AnnasCoffee says, how hard is it to draw a cake? Every specialist cake shop has a whole range of fantasy items, so why can't we have a cake?

The Autumn mystery box is on sale for 20 gems right now. I don't know if they plan on getting rid of it after that? I might open it once or twice because I always wanted a few things out of it and if they pull it from the game I definitely want to try. I love a sale! I opened last weeks sale box on accident and got a pretty dessert table so maybe I will get lucky again. I have never received a 1st place item in any game and I have opened my fair share of boxes so I won't hold my breath. One more thing, they are removing more Halloween content and it seems like its discounted. The Headless horseman is only 25 gems and I remember it being more than that when it was first released. If that's the case, I'm going to wait until they remove Christmas items so I can buy it cheaper.

I hope we can get a confirmation about this for the benefit of those who open them. There's a popup saying 20% off on Halloween items to be removed so the items with a timer are under it but so is the Red Autumn box with 20% off instead of the usual 25% from last week. Still unclear whether they plan to remove it or not.

They have already answered that question before. The boxes arent going to be removed, they are just giving them a discount. Its been done on RS for a while now and they did it on fashion. The winter box was discounted, the sale ended and the box is still there. Last week in bakery we had two boxes on sale. Its just a new idea. Im happy I opened the box last week. I finally got the teacup fountain ive always wanted.

Not sure if I want to try the autumn box again. I got every item when I opened it before, minus the horse carriage. Id like to get it, but there is the one they released last year thats just as pretty and with a few extra gems, it can be mine without the gamble. So if its limited ill buy it, to use for next year.
