The old harvest that I prepared in advance- counted for me! So yes, you should be fine harvesting from the old glimmerbulbs

Had some grown but not collected and it was fine.

On another note collecting from mushrooms seem to trigger dire boars more frequently than crops ( at least for me!).

Sorry, that line was confusing wasn't it. I've changed it to read that you can plant glimmer bulbs in advance. So, when you reach this bit you can harvest them for the item. Hope that's clearer...

You need at least 25 soil samples for crafting in the greenhouse. To complete step 3 you need only 20, so be sure to plant more than 20 or you have to wait another 8 hours.

Does anyone know: Do the soil samples drop even after you completed step 3 (as you need more than the requested 20)?

Yes, they continue to drop (I'm on step 4 and still getting soil drops)

What is the best way to trigger Dire Boars? None appeared when collecting at the mines...

FYI--for Step 4

The result for testing the soil and and testing Boar Tusks is Feral Magic. I was maxed out at 99, but what I crafted was still added to my inventory. I'm up to 104 at the moment. So at the end of step 4 you'll have crafted 10 Feral Magic.

I've got some kind of armored troll wandering my kingdom now.
That's what all the fuss was about. And to think, I spent over 150 gems to speed it up.
Silly me. At least it was not much of a resource drainer. Good luck to all.
