Excited for the first update of the year? We're going back to the main storyline this week. A familiar face is heading back to your Kingdom, Kaz! Find out what he learned about the Dire Boars during his journey!

The update will go live at 12 PM PST. In order to access today's update, you will need to have the Faerie Bridge update completed.

Step 1: The Prodigal Troll
Visit Kaz's Abode x3 (skip 15 gems)
Give Kaz a Mercury Feast x1

Fight Dire Boars x5 (skip 25 gems)
Collect Soil Samples from Glimmerbulb Crops x20 (Test these for Feral Magic) (Skip 30 gems)
Rewards: 500 coins, 2 XP

Note: plant glimmer bulbs in advance

Regarding Feral Magic, in "Sneaking Suspicions", they discovered Feral Magic during the tests. So there's the hint that Feral Magic comes from "Test Soil Samples" and "Test Boar Tusks". But the drops are not guaranteed so you may need to go through the test a few times!

Step 3 has you collect 20 soil samples. However, step 4 has you do 5 test soil sample tests and each test uses 5 soil samples. So be aware and collect 25.

You mean, when everyone sees what they get stuck with permanently?

I'm just happy I checked out my gemming neighbours kingdoms before I finished the goal so I avoided a nasty surprise... Consistency clearly is not TLs strong point....
