Using IOS to purchase items for Android users

I know with IOS users you can purchase 1 item and repurchase more later. The question I have is, I'm on Android and if I have 1 of every item no longer available for purchase and sometime later upgrade to IOS, would that same principal apply to those items in storage or no? I'm trying to get one of everything being discontinued without having my places looking like a hot mess and hope to repurchased more in the future using an IOS device.

It's only floor tile and wallpaper that you can do that with. You'll need to purchase ALL the other items before they disappear. It won't work with tables, chairs, & decorations.

But yes, this concept does work for tiles/wallpaper. In fact, all you need to do is log on from an apple device to make such a purchase. So if you have a friend with one, you can purchase more removed tiles/wallpaper there. Or if you happen across an apple device at a store...
