Do the Pantry & Toolbox empty on their own?

I may be mistaken, but it seems like sometimes my Pantry & Toolbox amounts go dramatically down even if I haven't used the items. I was wondering if items expire or if they reset themselves & remove items that are not used. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what to suggest. I have never experienced this. My ingredients disappear only when I cook with them and use them.

The items in your pantry or toolbox will not expire or go bad. We had them specially built with magic dust to prevent that.
