Level 312, damage points not registering

Level 312, seems to be having issues registering the number of yellow, purple, and orange candies. If I have 12 points in a row it's only registering 2% damage why I am not getting the full 12%? If I only have 3 of the same colour I get no damage points?

Sorry for the confusion! The number of candies you match is not necessarily equal to the same amount of HP percent. For example, you you could match 6 candies to do 6 damage, but that might only knock him down 2%. Hope this helps and good luck!
