How can I get Magic Studio? It's locked by goal.

You have to expand to the castle and follow the goals to the Magician, the girl in a purple dress. After you expand to her square, you can build the Magic Studio

I just wanted to ask for some help on the "Shedding Trees . . . ?" Goal. Anything useful anyone can tell me would be good.

You chop a lot of trees and collect from your lumber mill. I chopped mostly Gilded trees, one of my neighbors used Oak trees. It took me quite some time, got 0-3 spiral wood from each tree.

I seem to be in the same situation - that wood is apparently a pretty darn rare drop. I only have 5 so far (when I first asked, I had none, so I was kind of worried as to how to know what trees to chop).

How can I get Magic Studio? It's locked by goal.

It is locked until you do other goals, do every other goal except completing the prince house I believe this is one of the buildings that requires the magic studio and you will get it open by level 14/15 or so.

I started playing pretty early on (had to do some of the quests twice because they changed them around).
I've already freed sleeping beauty (called the magician on this thread i think) woken the princess (alice in wonderland?) and built the prince's house and the hero's house. But I don't recall the quest for magicians/merlin's shreds of paper. Do you think I could have missed it? I don't see any reward in my inventory that can be it.
Any ideas?

I also had to do several quests twice, and never got the goal Merlin's Scattered Notes... Don't know if we ever will. Hopefully some staff member will answer in the Bugs subforum, I started a thread there.
