At least this finally gives me an excuse to breed some lightning animals. Haven't had the time/chance since I joined the game and everything else that's come out has been nature, fire, or earth-related.
Maybe I'll do water/nature/lightning because I'm missing a lot of water/nature as well. My plan is to hatch the two other things in my storage right now for the christmas points first, though. x_x

Hm, I may try that at bedtime. I like to use combos that have typical 7-9 hour fails around bedtime, so that I wake up and its ready but no time was wasted.
Though I still do not have a hippogryph. So I'd try a falconch or conducktor.

Whelp, first try was nearly the longest fail possible with those 4 elements, lol. 16 hours. Presumably another daredevil or thunderhawk. My failing combo was fire glider & turtisle.

By putting 4 elements in the den you're increasing the odds of failure
If you're missing hyppo, citrine and the new one, narrow it down to 2-3 failers, that's why I suggested unicorn with falconch (as you don't have hyppograph)
