Playing DS more casually and not being very bothered by all the glitches and goldtrapping going on has made it more enjoyable, and actually given really nice results too - had a couple tourneys where i didn't even use gold to speed up or Ultimate at all, but this tournament really is a reminder to why i just won't pay to play DS more intensely!

Since early yesterday i've been stuck on Space 17, and nothing i send in - with a calculated crit chance is 55 or 45 % - can touch it! Tournament reward is just another Champion and since i have a bunch of those i don't mind missing out on this one - i've decided to not spend any gold on tournaments unless the reward is a bit special, and jeee i am so glad it's just a simple Champ at stake when the lottery is this rough!!!

EDIT: After posting Spring 10 did manage to beat Space, not sure how many attempts Spring had but it was a few more than you'd expect when looking at calculations...ah, the DS randomness, like meeting an old friend again...ehmm or, like meeting some nasty person you never liked, again.....

Can't see myself win this tourney, but i have 20 Champs, and 8 of them are lvl.10, so it won't be much of a loss tbh...i'm really in a nice spot overall atm!

OMG why is Fireflower so hard?! 7 losses to this one so far!

I have checked the guides and just can't get the hang of this battle thing. I don't have the dragons others use and there seems no rhyme or reason to me. I would have liked to get this dragon due to my heritage but just couldn't get into it.

Dragon Story was the first Team Lava game I tried and I loved it! That led me to try other games but it became less fun with frustration getting dragons, way too many dragons to keep straight and then the battle conundrum.i took a sabbatical for a while.ihave never been able to get the diamond although I have bred recommended combos time after time. Tired of juggling habitats. I don't have quite the max for my level but keep running out of space.

Just recently, I planned on using gems to finish up getting a dragon from mining and noted that most of my gems were gone. I know I could not buy anything as I did not have enough gems for that. Playing for the faithful friends who gift gems every day but finding it more and more confusing.

OMG I just can't beat astromancer lost diamond 5 times and lost gold mercury and crusader plz anyone suggestion plz 

I went back and forth a number of times with Astromancer, Mercury and Crusader. Finally used Diamond and it worked. Good luck!

After ultimate on Astromancer I can't beat Infinity. Looks like I am expected to hand over gold.

Saw a post from Lip that Sunstone, Honeybee, Fire and Air have won against it. Just saw Vas2001 used Sapphire. I am battling Infinity now.

Lol, I read back a bit, and saw others had trouble with Barbarian, as well. Several "Ultimated" to keep their sanity (too late for me!) I'm nervous about the remaining opponents--they're very tough.

I know! He's crazy! My game and my son's game each lost our first battle of the day. Tried champs again. I hope we all get him soon! I have the gold to ulti, but I don't wanna! Lol, feeling stubborn.

I am just on Infinity and like you feeling stubborn to ultimate as well. Hope we make it.
