Bingo Chest (NOT key treasure chests)

I noticed today that the chest with the Bingo! logo on it (NOT the chests you use keys for) opened and gave me coins and tickets at the end of the round! It didn't do it every time, so I'm curious whether anyone knows what we have to do to open that chest. Is it related to numbers of bingos or a particular daub space or just random?

...or maybe it's supposed to happen every round, but I just hit the Continue button too fast?

The chest with "BINGO" on it at the end of the game will always open and give you rewards. You may have tapped "Continue" too early before the chest opened in the past.
