First - apologies for the delay, folks -- real life has been happening.
But second - Winning images for all Round Table banners are in!

All along, I planned to tie all of our banners together and "match" by giving them all something in common: The TSS symbol of crossed swords behind a grey "metal" shield in the foreground with the banner image on it.
Welllllllllll, wouldn't you know it? That color just doesn't work for some of the banner images, grr.
Soooo... I played around with different options: I changed the field of the shield/crest to white and then changed the field to a lighter shade of black.
Nowwww, wouldn't you know it? Some look better on 1 color than the others & some look good on 2 or 3 of them. The only one that all banner images work on is the white background, which I think looks the least like an actual metal shield, lol.
So, here's my dilemma: Do we vote on the best shield background-color for each banner whether it's white, grey or black -- or do we just go with white backgrounds all around?

I couldn't decide, so I'm putting it all up for feedback.
Here are how the winning images look on some of the shield choices:
(Some images didn't work on some bg colors at all, so I'm not even including them.)

For the Banquet Table, I couldn't quite get the Cupperbutt Figurehead to work like I initially described in the Table Naming Ballot:
She is wearing item of headwear to represent & match possible chosen Order. One hand is shading her eyes as she looks ahead & the other is holding the original Thuakie sword in an outstretched arm, pointing it straight ahead in line with the direction of the ship's prow. Banner image also shows the entire bow of the ship.

Luckily, the Crown already on her head can be considered paper, lol. But, I couldn't do the hand shading the eyes or one arm outstretched. I was only able to find a matching sword that I was able to put in her hand instead of the butterfly. I also found 2 ship images to attach her to ...


....but once placed on the shield, Cupperbutt is way too tiny in the first one. The second one might work but she's still small.

Now, for The Pit's Banner, most people voted for "E" (pink pig in the mud) which was actually just a last minute addition to that ballot so I could get everything posted & to offer 5 choices just like the other ballots. I didn't think it'd get picked that much, lol. But it tells me a good number of folks would like more options with mud in the image.

So, point taken. And here's my compromise:
Even though swine most likely to be seen wallowing around in the mud would be the standard pink pig, I'd prefer The Pit's Banner to be a boar instead of a sow or hog (or at least not bubble-gum-pink, lol).

And here's why:
--> Just like pigs, boars are still known for rooting around in the mud, lol.
--> The word is a homonym: boar and bore (as in, I'm bored or you're a boring boar, lol).
I tend to think of the people in the pit now as being 1 of the 3: they're either a boar who has run off amuck somewhere, lol... they got bored with the game and left ... or some of them are just an actual bore, *yawn*. LOL.
--> Boars are fierce & wild ... pigs, on the other hand are cute & domesticated.
I'd like to stay away from too cartoon-cutesy of an image.
--> While images of the boar and the pig were both used in heraldry & family crests & coat of arms, the boar was probably more popular.
--> In heraldry, the boar symbolizes bravery, fights to the death, and is associated with warriors. The pig (sow) symbolizes fertility, lol.
--> And probably the best reason of all - The Black Knight in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" features a boar's head on the front of his uniform, lol.

Finding good images without copyrighting text overlaid on them wasn't easy but I hope I don't regret offering *too many* choices now, lol.
The cutesy pink pig in the mud is gone but I'm carrying over the second top voted image from the first ballot (A) & I'm also adding 5 more, either standing in the mud or with a drop-shadow, which gives the appearance of them being in the mud.

6. So with all that, here are more banner choices (A-F) for The Pit:

Once one of the above (or following) images gets the majority vote, we'll deal with its shield background color, lol (if applicable).

OK, bringing up Monty Python's Black Knight opens up a whole other funny door, lol.
In addition to the above solo boars for The Pit's banner, I'm adding 5 different images of various stages of the Black Knight (in the uniform w/the red boar's head on it), lol.

The main reason I'm even offering this as another option to the boar is if/when we decide to add a Motto to each of our Tables, one of the Black Knight's quotes would make a really funny one for The Pit. There's "'Tis but a scratch!", "I've had worse.", "Just a flesh wound.", None shall pass!", "I move for no man!" "I'll bite your legs off!" ... LOL!
(And if there's anyone out there who isn't familiar with Monty Python or hasn't seen "The Holy Grail"... for shame!!! lol - go watch it & LAUGH your limbs off!
