I had 2 trains asking for 6 pears and 7 pear juices. Pears take 2 days to harvest, my train would be long gone before I can harvest enough to make pear juice. Had lots of trains asking for truffle shavings and truffle pizzas in the same train. I don't have 156 truffles to fulfil that either. Although I enjoy challenges, this is impossible.

I don't see the issue with sending a partially loaded train, as long as you get up to the 3 star range you get the second most gems for it and the experience/money you get for loading each car is actually as good if not better than sending them through the normal delivery method. Maybe I am missing something. I don't load a section of cars unless I am goign to get to the next star segment because there is no benefit between the star segments but as long as you get up to the next one you do get a bonus on the delivery.

I've had some unreasonable trains recently. First I had 3 trains in a row ask for 6 pears. Then the fourth train asked for 7 pear pizzas. Then the fifth train asked for 6 pears. Then the 6th train asked for 7 pear pizzas and 7 apple pear juices.

Now how in the world are we expected to be able to fill such trains when we can have a maximum of 5 pear trees and the pears take 36 hours to be able to be picked.

    This is not right.

It is the time it takes. If you only part load the train you can't send it. (well I can't work out how to) You have to wait until it leaves and I think that takes 36hrs.

In 36 hours you could have 3 opportunities to load trains for a total of 15 gems. 15 gems is worth 2 cans of paint. When you barn needs 18 paints for each upgrade, delay on train orders really slows down game play and progress. All these unreasonable train orders are a real problem when they happen so frequently.

I wish there was an option to send the train at the 2 star stage. Then I could ignore the ridiculous requests, get 2 gems for my trouble, and not have to sit and wait for the train to leave of its own accord, wasting precious time.

Now I only send out what I have enough of the moment it arrives, which is usually only excess crops, or which I can craft or grow sufficiently to get at least a couple of orders done. Although I may not always get the gems, at least I get some coins, and I have been fortunate in getting the occasional expansion item or tool.

As far as the sushi rice goes...I usually end up with a surplus simply because I keep harvesting and drying rice and have nothing better to do with it (other than make rice crackers), but I never have enough fish to make the rolls.

Overall, my suggestion would be: just do what you can, and if you don't completely fill the order, then it's fine. At least you emptied some space in your barn and silo, didn't simply lose out on the coins, and maybe got some expansion pieces, tools, and maybe gems for your efforts.
Your suggestions are great. I buy from the newsstand to complete orders and then I make them myself. Once I make what I bought, I sell them back in the market.

I have gotten several orders in a row asking for something that looks like an alpaca or llama. What is that and where do I make it?

That is an alpaca plushie. You make that in the studio. It takes 7 hours and uses 2 alpaca wool, 2 buttons and 1 linen flower. Market value is $1157.

80 percent of train orders are unreasonable. When are we going to get large orders?
