Why do the skins cost so much. I wanted to do a goal with the skins. It cost 100 gems! I am new and don't nearly that many. Even if I did I would'nt use them for that.

Agree 110% with you. I've never understood why they cost nearly as much as a pet. In the past they've at least given us a couple of options that you could purchase with coins but lately it's all gem purchases. If you didn't do it already, play any game that pop-up to be installed and played when you start Farm Story 2 and do what quest mention to do.
It will then give you 30 gems and for second quest and every other after that 15 gems, this way you can get gems faster.
How often time it exchange the games i'm not sure yet though.
