What is the better use of trade tickets, and why?
Weigh in please, since these take so long to accrue. Tinker camp or 3 + expansion permits?

Depends on what level you are.
I went for the tinker camp right out of the gate & never regretted it because during those lower levels, I could devote it solely to churning out wisps & lanterns and now - longer glues (architect paste & magic cement), leaving my workshops and potion shops free to do *other* stuff.
My vote is for the tinker camp.
Ps. The royal chateau just gives coins but is needed for the Greselda line. I went for it second. THEN expansion permits, opening all the plots that didn't require permits, first.

Definately Tinker Camp first. You'll wonder how you ever coped without it.
