Well I think I figured out the connection to all these new creatures, they are halloween based!!! All are dark hybrids, and all are awesome. Just past level 4, and so far not having any issues with not getting a crucial hit!!! The owl looks great, and can't wait to get!!!

He IS really cute. And yes, it and the nightmare are pretty Halloweeny!

I also note that for the last tournament, the prize was a dark-fire. When there already were 2 dark-fire supers to be had.
In this case, yet AGAIN, they chose a hybrid type that there already were 2 of available, dark-nature.
There are 9 different combos out there which only have 1 super rare to date. Instead of giving us an opportunity to get one of those, they managed to yet again pick a hybrid type that we are twice al likely to already have. Ah well. Maybe arena tournament #3 will have an electric super rare. Or anything without dark and that there aren't 2 of already.

Unfornately, I don't see it in my goals. Oh well, at least it's a dark rare animal.

I don't think there is this time.

I was really hoping they'd have it again, but this time make the quest 2 days longer than the tournament so peeps could complete the tournament in the last half day and still complete the quest without spending more gems than the quest gets you. I'm going to keep hoping for a little while that the quest appears just a little late.
