ARENA TOURNAMENT #2 HAS BE***!

The Arena is open for business!!! (For all players level 17 & up.) Win all 30 rounds and your prize is an Owl Bear (egg is placed in your inventory upon completion, to hatch in your nest whenever you feel like it.) In keeping with the tradition they started with the Nightmare last tournament, the prize for this one is a hybrid that there already were 2 super rares in, making this the third super rare nature-dark, as opposed to one of the plethora of super rare hybrids of which there exist only one.

You can only battle once an hour for free. Hurrying the timer costs 1 gem per 15 minutes, rounded up. Healing time for your animal after a lost battle is 10 minutes. Unlike the battlegrounds, you can SEE what your opponent will be before choosing your champion to battle it.

To maximize your chances of getting a critical hit, choose an animal that has the element listed under "Strong Attack(s)" and attack with that element. The rarer the better, and the higher its level the better.

I made this graphic depicting which elements are "strong" (above) or "weak" (below) each other:

• Elements not directly above or below each other are neutral to each other.
• The gem sky above the element pyramid represents that ultra rare animals are better than all but dark because they are by definition more rare. The exception is dark. Gems are weak to dark.
• If your attack element is strong vs. one of the opponent's but weak vs. the other, it is considered weak. If it is strong only or strong and neutral your attack is strong.
• ANY attack (whether it would be strong, neutral or weak) has a chance of landing a critical hit. It's just that your odds of getting a critical (we believe) are stronger when a) your attack is stronger, b) your rarity is higher and c) your level is higher.

So far, I've had success with these animals:
