    Castle Update 10/2/15: Fellora Plants

    Hi All!

This week's update introduces a new crop, Fellora Plants, available to players level 31 and higher to grow at their farming plots. The seeds for these crops originally belonged to Lady Greselda, so in addition to dropping Fellora Blossoms, they have a chance of dropping Dark Seeds and Glimmer Plants.

The first two quests, introducing the crop, are available to everyone who has finished Lesson 3. For players who have completed Start of Something Beautiful and built Faerie Workshops, there are two more quests that unlock crafts that allow the transformation of Glimmer Shards to Glimmer Fragments, and vice versa.

    Have fun, everyone!

AND a fourth week in a row mid-level players don't get a new quest. (By mid-level, I mean players like myself in the 30's and 40's levels, who have been playing more than 6 months but still not even CLOSE to Ivy's Lesson 3.) Bummer. Have fun, those of you advanced enough to play.

Actually I've just harvested and looked at the plant options and it's not greyed out. Think we can play

We can plant them, but it would be a waste of 2 days since we don't have the quest.

Not necessarily. You can build up your supply. Step 1 only requires you plant 10. Step 2 requires you to give 20 blossoms. So if you already have 20 blossoms in your stock before you get to this, then you can complete step 2 immediately after you finish step 1, without having to wait for 20 blossoms to grow.

When I get close to the point that will trigger this quest I will probably do that. But right now that's looking like it's a month or more away so there are a lot of other things higher on my list of what to stock up on. But thanks for the thought.
