Castle Update 9/18/14- Faerie Workshop

Looks like update is live. First step is to brew fairy potion

You do not need to update to 1.2.4 in order to see this update.

As long as you have quest No Place Like Home from the Plume Hive story completed, you should see this in your Kingdom Goals list.

Also in case anyone was confused about this, after crafting the Faerie Essence in the Potion Shop during "D.I.Y.", the option to craft this item will disappear from the Potion Shop, this isn't an issue. Thanks!

Step 1: D.I.Y.
-Make 1 Faerie Essence
[Reward: 410 coins + 3 xp]

Faerie Essence:
5 Fey Crystals
5 Faerie Murmurs
5 Floral Glow
1 hour in Potion Shop


Step 2: Fixer-Upper
-Give Royal Beams for repairs! (4)
-Give Builder's Paste for repairs! (1)
[Reward: 410 coins + 3 xp]


Step 3: Let's Make a Deal
-Give Azalea some Candy Bonbons (5)
[Reward: 1,800 coins + 7 xp]

Candy Bonbons:
-5 Cocoa Beans
-2 Sugar
-5 Glimmerdust
-4 hours in the Kitchen

Completing "lets make a deal" unlocks tea cakes in kitchen. Next step:

New Exchange (in Royal Exchange):
Trade with the Faeries
-12 Candy Bonbons
-12 Teacakes
-6 Jewelled Hairpins

Jewelled Hairpins:
-10 Silver
-5 Jewels
-3 Glimmer Shards
-5 hours in Magic Forge

After you make the hairpins the next step is "The Value of Commerce."

You need to trade with the Faeries which requires 12 Bon Bons, 12 Tea Cakes and 6 Hair Pins. Time: 8 Hours

FYI--You can skip this part for only 20 gems.

Build a Faerie Workshop. Cost 50,000 coins. 2x2 size



Parts needed: 10 Faerie Block, 10 Faerie Past, 10 Faerie Beam


You get parts to build the workshop from the Royal Exchange:















Additional Notes:
*Plume Hive quest needs to be finished before this quest will unlock.
*Finishing step 2 gives you the ability to make Candy Bonbons in the kitchen (you don't actually get any as a reward).
*Items like candy bonbons will only appear as options when you're up to the relevant goal.


Glitch: I was making blue dye in my potion shop, the goal auto-triggered completed when I collected it. Don't have faerie essence in my inventory and have no way of making it now. Lame...
