where did all my stars go?

hi, I have a big problem with my stars disappearing. I was at one point on world 12 or 13 when it told me i needed to connect to the internet to keep playing. so i did. It kicked me back a world. But i just ignored it and moved on. I started at world one and was going through and beating each level to three stars and earning keys as well. I had beaten all worlds up to world 7 completely. But now it says i've only beaten worlds 1 and 2 completely. Its taken my stars, gems and coins. I have no idea whats going on. i've force stopped it, i've uninstalled and reinstalled it and i've turned off my phone. whats going on????? i have an android 4.1.2 and the game version 1.6.2.2g.
