Castle Update 9/4/14: Anniversary Tournament Pt. 2

I like this update, but it's (for me) a sad thing that it AGAIN needs rat tails... I've got SO many quests going on that need rat tails, and I'm lucky if I get 1-2 rat tails a day, even with all the sources that should give it... Please TL, make the droprate go up, or don't make so many quests that require rat tails?

Realy, if I got an offer for 99 rat tails for 10 euro, I wouldn't wait a minute...

So we basically get 10 mermaid scales and 10 jewels for the second anniversary? Or am I missing something?

I'm still on Part 1, so I'm just adding information as it comes in. There may be more goals in this line, I don't know.

I would imagine that those are for completing that part in the quest.

@Bexx, I think we're just on hold while people craft those dyed scarves. Without gems, it would take a minimum of three hours to complete step 4.

Where are the crazy speed-runners? Lol

Can't help but comment on the mystery fragment drop rate...after all the times CS reps have told us "we don't mess with drop rates" when skunkupines, fangbeasts, dire boars, or even trolls or any other "random" item became suddenly scarce once needed for a quest line! lol The truth WILL out! 😄

We don't lower droprates, and the droprates don't lower themselves - once we put a droprate out, it stays like it is.

However, if an item is too scarce, sometimes we do RAISE droprates. This tends to happen if it's blocking people from progressing too much, or if we've started to use an item much more than before. Let me know if this is a problem

I'm right along with you...still waiting for mystery fragment...I have 2 level 5 deep mines and have lost count on attempts....think it's been almost a week. Definitely not my idea of fun.

EQUIP REINFORCED SWORD: 1x sword, 1 Mithril, 25x IronOre

each 2 hours.

Then beat up Red Troll ...need 60 health!!! at jousting arena
